The BruCON annual security conference was held last week. This is a Belgian conference that attracts many security experts each year.
‘BruCON is an annual security conference providing two days of an interesting atmosphere for open discussions of critical infosec issues, privacy, information technology and its cultural/technical implications on society…’ – www.brucon.org
This year was the first time the Security Factory had sent a team to the annual CTF (Capture the Flag) – a competition to see who is the best hacker that day 😉 – which was organized by Facebook, and they managed to take first place, winning a prize of €211! The winners promptly decided to use the money to hold a party for the team to celebrate the victory!
The statistics are shown here. The team played under the name Danger Zone.
